Traditional Kuang Family Gua Sha Treatment
Madam Gong's morning exercises
For cold:
1 tbsp brown sugar (or to taste)
2 cups water
3 inches of ginger root, chopped into pieces
Boil the ginger root in water with brown sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes. Drink the
liquid and you can eat the root if you like. Then go to sleep.
For a sore throat:
Core 1 asian pear. Put rock sugar in the hole where the core was. Steam the pear
until soft. Then eat it.
